Our vision at CEBIMAT is to be the leading R&D center for biodegradation studies. We balance our services for partners and customers, which focus on studying the biodegradation of their materials, with a strong emphasis on conducting biodegradation research.

The R&D department at CEBIMAT is one of its biggest strengths, both due to the scientists who make it up and its permanent collaboration with the research group of the university which the company is affiliated with.

Together with the UJI, we form a scientific team specialized in the biodegradation process from both the microbiology and material perspective.

At CEBIMAT, we promote and participate in scientific projects dedicated to researching biodegradation and biodegradable materials, being excellent industrial partners in European and national projects.
